At $50/month, the host continues the website service and editor/support access. If the host does not continue: simple cancellation. Take your website with you or we will host it as a portfolio item. The portfolio version keeps property information, imported reviews and the Airbnb link. Editor access, interna features (review request, coupons, inquiries) and support end. The portfolio version is not an ongoing managed-content service. It is a static website, that remains active. # Website, Guest tools and ongoing services ## Local guidebook and welcome information The product includes an automated local guidebook and can present host recommendations. Property guidance can include check-in, checkout, house rules and instructions supplied by the host. These materials also provide the basis for property-specific guest assistance. ## Reviews and review requests Imported reviews help show the property’s existing track record. Import, selection and display are different from collecting new reviews or continuously synchronizing a third-party review feed. The free offer includes manually imported reviews, review management and review-request service. ## Forms and promotion tools Inquiry and contact forms, welcome forms, coupons, social feeds, weather, calendars and third-party widgets. Third party availability depends on the purchased service. LAZY-based ones are the part of the offer. An inquiry form collects an inquiry; it does not create a confirmed reservation. A coupon displayed on the site must also be supported by the checkout provider to affect its price. ## Hosting and maintenance The recurring paid service covers the site, publishing infrastructure, editor and included service components. Maintenance keeps existing capabilities functioning; shared product updates can improve them. The established support route begins with Lazy assistance and escalates when needed. No response-time or uptime guarantee has been established in the reviewed offer. ## Property assistant The paid offer includes an AI assistant trained on the property to answer questions about the place, policies and local area. Assistant service is a recurring capability, included in the $50 monthly service. Assistant is not an agent. It will not know knows live availability, he wont be able can change reservations or can take payments unless those actions have been implemented and tested for the specific connected service, which is for now outside the scope. The source documents establish a property-information assistant, not a booking agent. # Technical model and integrations ## How the website and booking system connect Lazy supplies the property-facing website, editing and publication layer. A supported widget, embedded component or external booking link connects that website to the host’s selected booking platform. The booking platform handles the reservation functions supported by the host’s account and subscription. [L2] | **Function** | **Responsible system or party** | | -------------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------- | | Property pages and visual design | Lazy website and editor | | Website publishing and included guest services | Lazy recurring service | | Availability and bookable rates | Connected booking provider | | Reservation and checkout | Connected booking provider | | Card processing and payouts | Provider/payment processor and host account | | Taxes, agreements and booking email configuration | Host and connected provider | | Channel synchronization | Connected provider and enabled channel connections | ## Supported integration family We onboard any booking suystem that provides API or widget. We will ask the host to provide booking widget in intake form and work with the host if they need assistance. The host owns and operates the connected account. Compatibility depends on the provider’s embeddable tools, subscription, account configuration and restrictions. A platform logo is not proof of a custom API integration or a formal partnership. We extensively tested Hospitable, Guesty, Lodgify and OwnerRez booking widgets, and we prefer Lodgify, because we use it ourselves as hosts and honestly think it is the best option. ## Booking choices An Airbnb-link site sends the visitor to Airbnb to book. Same goes for each booking platform like VRBO and Booking.com A connected direct-booking site sends the visitor into the chosen provider’s booking flow. Inquiry mode lets a visitor contact the host. Version 2, not availble in Version 1: Appointment Calendar. this functionality is in testing and will be in Version 2. # Delivery and responsibilities ## Free website workflow The host submits the Airbnb, VRBO or Booking.com listing link. Lazy uses its property content, photographs, amenities, reviews and location information to build the site. Lazy tests the property pages, mobile layout, imported content and Airbnb link, then publishes. The host receives editor access and makes their own changes. After the first month, the host chooses whether to continue at $50/month, take the website with them, or have it hosted as a portfolio item without editor/support. There is no client approval gate, revision round or customization service in this workflow. We haven't looked at your listing yet, so no exact delivery date promises. Website design is usually ready in 3–4 business days. We'll let you know when your website will be ready within one business day. The service start and the renewal notice should be recorded for each site. [C1] ## Integration workflow The workflow is collecting the host’s information, building the property site, connecting the chosen provider, testing and launching, and handing over the editor. Website design and integration are free during the launch offer, while the provider account and its subscriptions remain with the host. | **Lazy** | **Host** | | --------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------ | | Build and publish the agreed website | Provide correct property information and usable photographs | | Connect the supported booking tools in scope | Own the provider account and approve booking settings | | Operate included website services | Pay domain, provider and transaction charges | | Maintain the existing product | Keep property information and operating policies current | | Provide editor access while subscribed | Make content and design changes in the editor | ## Scope control Requests to change customer content belong in the editor. Technical problems with existing capabilities belong in support. Requests for shared product improvements belong in the Host Wishlist. Additional custom production or development by Lazy is outside the offer. # 8 Ownership and cancellation ## Host control The established client offer says the host retains the domain, property content, guest information and relationships, connected booking account and payments. Third-party accounts operate under the host’s control. Lazy does not take a booking commission. [L2] ## What survives the subscription A website’s static property content is different from the services that run behind it. Editor access, the AI assistant, forms, coupons and review collection depend on the subscription. The earlier paid client offer promises a hosting-ready static website when the host leaves, with those service components ending. This is a documented commercial promise; the exact export format and handoff process need to be specified operationally. [L2] Simple cancellation. Take your website with you or we will host it as a portfolio item. The portfolio version keeps property information, imported reviews and an Airbnb link, while editor access and support stop. The badge and portfolio condition are part of that offer. [C1] ## Domain and account details A host-owned custom domain remains a separate asset with its own registration bill. Lazy owns two web addresses, lazy.vacations and pleasant.vacations: the host picks one, and the subdomain on it is free within the Lazy service. Use the actual assigned address in the order and handoff. # Alternatives and current pricing ### Why choose LAZY? **LAZY is a website platform built specifically for vacation rentals.** - **Complete design flexibility.** Change colors, fonts, spacing, and layouts globally without rebuilding your website. - **Content and design are separate.** Manage photos, descriptions, amenities, and sections without disturbing the design. - **Everything vacation rentals need.** Booking tools, maps, reviews, local guides, and an AI assistant, all built to work together. - **Low learning curve. Predictable results.** Make changes yourself, without coding or hiring a designer. We differ both from the building platforms and from the design services. A generic website builder gives the owner a construction tool. A booking platform gives the owner reservation operations and may include a site builder. A web agency can provide individual design services. Lazy combines initial website production with its own editor and recurring website services inside a defined product scope. Below is a comparison of the delivery models, not a claim that competitors cannot supply attractive sites or setup help. | Platform | Easy to learn? | Easy to edit? | Ready website? | Rental-specific? | Support? | Hosting? | Price | | ---------------- | -------------- | ------------- | -------------- | ---------------- | -------- | -------- | ------------------ | | **LAZY** | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | **$50/mo** | | Claude / Lovable | ❌ | ❌ | ❌ | ❌ | ⚠️ | ⚠️ | $15–25/mo + tokens | | Freelancer | N/A | ❌ | ✅ | ⚠️ | ⚠️ | ❌ | $400+ + $15/mo | | Wix | ⚠️ | ⚠️ | ❌ | ❌ | ✅ | ✅ | $40/mo | | Framer | ❌ | ⚠️ | ❌ | ❌ | ✅ | ✅ | $30/mo | | Webflow | ❌ | ⚠️ | ❌ | ❌ | ✅ | ✅ | $70/mo | | Squarespace | ⚠️ | ⚠️ | ❌ | ❌ | ✅ | ✅ | $30/mo | ✅ Yes · ❌ No · ⚠️ Partially / Depends · N/A Not applicable # Positioning and Context ## Launch verification For a link-only site, LAZY will verify the listing destination, mobile navigation, images, contact links and review attribution. For a connected booking site, we will also also verify property mapping, available and blocked dates, guest count, rate and fee display, checkout destination, confirmation and the host’s payout account. These are implementation checks, not an added client revision round. ## Property presentation The established Lazy product supports property descriptions, amenities, photographs, galleries and slideshows, guest reviews, host information, local recommendations, booking calls to action, maps, external links and guest guidance. Content is arranged into reusable pages and sections with different visual treatments. ## The host uses the same editor The editor is a central part of the product, not a separate request form for changes. The host can edit content and design, preview the result and publish it. Earlier product documents describe safe design controls so that hosts can make substantial changes within the shared system. [L1, L2] | **Control** | **What the host can change** | | ------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------ | | Content | Text, photographs, links, recommendations and property details | | Page structure | Add, remove, hide, rename and reorder sections; change navigation and layouts | | Design skins | Apply a coordinated visual design while retaining property content | | Advanced controls | Adjust layout and visual presentation within the product controls | | Reviews | Import, add, select, pin and manage displayed reviews | | Assets | Use ready-made sections, section library, icons, logos and image assets | | Publishing | Edit, preview and publish from the editor | ## Why a host would use it A host may already have bookings, photographs, reviews and repeat guests but no property website of their own. Lazy turns those existing materials into a site. In the free campaign, that can begin without setting up a new booking platform: the Airbnb link remains the booking destination. A host who already has booking software can show its supported widget on the site. Website design and integration are free during the launch offer. ## Contact - Call or text: +1 (415) 317-3404 - Email: sandy@lazy.vacations - Facebook Messenger: https://m.me/lazy.vacations - Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/lazy.vacations - Founder on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/atayts/ ## The founder story Me. I’m Sandy, I live in San Francisco. I’m a UX designer. I used to work for small businesses. Over the years, I’ve worked with more than a dozen low-code and no-code website builders, and I kept running into the same problem: none of them did exactly what I wanted. And my requirements weren’t unreasonable. **Can I control the entire design easily?** Colors, fonts, spacing, layout, everything. Change the design once and have it update everywhere. Keep the formatting consistent. Keep things exactly where I put them, on desktop, on mobile, and preferably tomorrow too. **Is the content easy to edit?** I wanted a proper place to write descriptions, upload photos, and rearrange sections without chasing elements around a preview. I wanted my clients, the business owners, to make their own changes without calling a web designer every time. **Does it have tools for the trade?** Every business has its own needs. A massage studio needs an appointment calendar. A design studio needs a serious portfolio. A vacation rental needs booking, maps, galleries, amenities, and property descriptions. I wanted those tools built in, working together, and easy to manage. I didn’t find that tool. For a few years I worked a fairly boring corporate job and stopped thinking about supertools, small businesses, and web design. But you never know what’s around the bend. Five years ago, through some strange circumstances, I became the owner of an old house in Maine, of all places, on the other side of the country. I came for a week and ended up spending four months fixing it up. To keep the place alive, I put it on Airbnb. I’d always been a huge fan. Of course I joined host groups, and right away I met every host’s big dream: direct booking. Hosts complained about Airbnb, wished they had their own place on the internet, and struggled to find a simple way to build one. And it all came back around. Suddenly I was my own target audience, the small business that needed a good low-code tool. I tried them all again: Webflow, Framer, Squarespace, Lodgify’s website builder, Wix, and a couple more. Nope, still bad. So I built LAZY™. Hopefully, I can make a few hosts a little less stressed. Together, we might make the internet a little less ugly. # Live LAZY Websites Five real client websites lead the homepage and portfolio. Homepage cards open a design story with desktop and phone previews and a link to the live website.
